OMFGosh! I want socks for Christmas too! But I don't think I'm gonna get them because I don't think anyone really believes me!
Is it really that weird to want socks for Christmas??? I LOVE getting socks!
That's awesome that I found someone else who wants socks for Christmas.

Because some ppl are so materialistic that they expect you to say a Play Station, Rolex watch, new car, etc. Socks make great gifts and I am giving socks to some pple this Christmas. Someone said that you can get sox anytime. That comment reminds me of a news story from Rwanda in Africa in the 1990s. The refugee kids were so out of their minds happy to get what we consider simple items (a t shirt, a toothbrush and toothpaste kit) that it made viewer cry. Don't let commercialism spoil your Christmas. Personal, useful items are great!

because socks are such an ordinary thing that ur passing by ina store and say these socks are cute maybe ill get them . Its not something you rap up and say it took me forever to find just ur size with just the rite style but i hope you like em MERRY CHRISTMAS. Just emphasize how much u want em. make it obvious.

Because it sounds like such a lame gift, even though you can never have too many socks. I always run out somehow. My family gets my cousin socks every year for Christmas. EVERY year. Never fails. And he loves it. Though that might be because we find fun ways of wrapping them. One year we stuffed them into soda bottles. Another year we put them in a Victoria's Secret bag.
But seriously, they're such a practical gift. They just sound lame.

Socks are pretty boring. I don't put my Christmas hopes and dreams on a pair of argyles. Can get those any old time.

That is what my husband asks for every year, and a lady I use to work with loved "weird and silly" socks. It is just not something that everyone wants.

Because nobody wants practical gifts for any occasion.
Just think of all the people giving constantly ties, shirts, cologne and such, say for Father's day. You know what I mean?
If you don't get the socks, you may want to buy it your self. It may save you some frustrations.
