a close friend is going through a problem..here it goes...she was in a car accident about 2 years ago when she only had her driving permit and was driving a friend's car..now the man she hit wants to sue her..is that possible? can he still do that after 2 years..i still dont' know all the details or facts about it but all i know is that she is stressing out about this shes a sinlge mom with two kids please any help i can get will be appreciated by both her and me thanks in advance

yes. statute of limitations is about 2 years on car accidents, so if he's before that, he can sue her for any medical damages and repair costs to his car

exactly when did it happen?

He can sue her because she was the driver of the car, and her frien's insurance company probably didn' twant to pay him since you were proably not allowed to drive the car under her policy.


So what if you're friends is a single mom with kids? You think that absolves her of her responsibility to pay for repair and medical bills due to an accident she caused?

Figure out what his case is..he might not even have a case..what is he sueing her for exactly?
