Hermit crabs eat very very little amounts of food at a time. Are you sure he's not eating? Is he not moving either? He could be dying. Try offering other types of food and altering his environment like I posted in your last question. You can also call around vets in your area to see if anyone specializes in exotics or hermit crabs and find out more info.

Didn't eat, still alive. Are you seeing when they eat? They may wait until its dark and you aren't watching. Check the food level. Maybe add some treat to what you are feeding. As for taking it to a vet...I doubt any can do anything about a sick hermit crab.
If it acts healthy and is moving around okay, he's probably fine.
Also, check the temperature in your house. Too cold could cause lethargy.

one question is ur hermit crab baring it's self in the sand ?? if so then it probably in a molt ...our did that we have 4 and they all did they same as long as they are still in the shell and didn't fall out then it will be ok...
Crabs grow by molting their outside skin. When this happens they will burrow to protect their new skin while it hardens. They are inactive during this period and won't eat. and it good not to touch them or pick them up during the time they are molting.. it will stress them out
