yes!

A lot of people are hands on learners who don't test well on standardized tests. They look "stupid" on paper but they are usually very smart and creative.

Some of the dumbest people I've met have Ph.D's. They are usually over educated in one narrow area and all that studying left them lopsided.

Definitely on both accounts. Thomas Edison was a drop out of high school. Bill Gates from college. Admittedly these are 2 extreme examples. But it's not uncommon to meet people who are extremely intelligent with very little proper education. I had an I.Q. of 127 when I was a high school drop out. A true test of intelligence can't be tested on paper as some people have a good memory. They know the right answer but don't really understand it beyond rote memory. As for the second question have you ever heard the term "educated fool"? I've known several people with advanced degrees that didn't have a lick of common sense. Evidently others have too as I've heard that term repeated by others numerous times all my life.

IQ tests are bollocks! You can study for them, it's called Mensa. Look at Autistic kids, some of them you can't test, but that little brain is filled with intelligence. Not every human being gets treated to a western education, and not every person can learn in the style he or she is being taught. An IQ test is a tool but so is a hammer.

IQ only show how you are able to learn new things and how easy it is for you to do it. You could go to college and or be a Dr and have a low IQ. It really is just a number. I dont think it proves you are smart of dumb just how much of a bunch of stupid crap you can learn and how fast you can learn it. My IQ is slightly above average just to let you know :) So take that as you want.

Yes. There are different types of intelligence. The kind you get from schooling is simply book smarts. I've known many book smart people who were actually dumb as rocks in many other areas. Everyone is smart in some way.

Yes to both. IQ is your ability to learn, not how much you know. There are plenty of people who have completed college, who have no better than average IQ's. There are also plenty of people who are brilliant, but have little or no formal education.

Yes, it is my personal opinion that many people leave college dumber than they went in.

IQ is a measurement of your ability to grasp new concepts, not memorize facts. Einstein got awful grades.
