It all depends on your income, how much you have to spare, and so forth. i dont really know what the average family gives and gets anymore. when i was 14 and 16 it was like 400 a piece on the 3 of us kids. my dad got a better paying job now and we're getting 600 each---mind you we're all much older and in our late teens and early 20s...but i dont believe that its how much you spend, honestly. its about what you put into it. i know id be happy just to spend time with my family doing something fun than having a ton of crap that im just going to put to the side in a matter of months. i think what you get your kids they will appreciate.

I dont see why not it. People forget it the meaning and the love that comes from the gift that matters and not how many or how flashy they are.

depends on what you are getting them. it could be less. I know that my sister (14) is getting roughly $100 worth. and I also know that there will be no complaints. its not about what you get. its about the season.

More than enough. Dont teach them that life is so easy to get what you want.

Yeah, so? Are these your children? What did you get them? Will they be appreciative? I would say that is plenty to spend on them.
