A list of historically great ( or potentially) players, not one year wonders.

1. LadanianTomlinson(0 rings)- Consistency and greatness will lead him to the Hall
2. Peyton(0 rings)- Will be the greatest quarteback ever and probably compared to Dan Marino (no rings) more than to John Elway (2 rings)
3. Larry Allen(3 rings)- Cosidered one of the best if not the best linman of all time
4. Brett Favre(1 ring)- A great career and will be in the top 10 of QB's all time. Sadly though will also throw more interceptions than anyone in history.
5.Tom Brady (3 rings)- History is measured by the rings and Tom has more than any quarterback since Aikman and last I checked he was in the Hall.

There are many others, among them- Marvin Harrison, Stephen Alexander, Jamal Lewis, Ray Lewis, & Brian Urlacher. But any discussion about all time greats is mainly offense and mainly those who won championships. Also a loud mouth gets a long ways.

That's nearly impossible to answer. How do you say a RB is better at his position that a QB(unless you're comparing Ryan Leaf to Jim Brown)? You can't really, but I'll try.
