I cannot stand for people to tell me they are going to do something then bail out. It gives me anxiety and makes me furious.
My boyfriend offered to take me 18 yr old daughter to an interview, then he didnt show up to pick her up, so she lost her chance at a good job. He acted like it was no big deal
My boyfriend took my daughters paycheck today to cash it and told her he would be to pick her up and give her her money. He didnt come along to pick her up and so he has her paycheck and she has no cash. Its almost Christmas eve. No banks are open on Sunday. I am mad
My boyfriend invites me over to eat when I get off work and often has nothing prepared. He says it will only take him 30 minutes. Its 9 pm at nite and I have to be up at 5 am for work the next day. It really makes me mad. I drive 30 miles to and from work.
He acts like its no big deal. It makes me mad
Is it him, or is it me?
I dont expect these things, but for him to follow thru if he offers.

I don't think you're at all crazy. Sounds like to me your boyfriend has a lot to work on when it comes to keeping his word. It seems to me if it's not benefiting him it's not a priority. It's not you...it's all him.

The things you listed are pretty crappy to do. You're not out of line for getting upset at those things. A new job is important, an interview is nerve-racking without your ride selling out, it's also a bad example to have been set for your daughter.

My g/f is like that with planning, except way more meticulous. It's just a result of the way she was raised. Once she's planned something, it can't be altered. If it's something that involves both of us and I flake -- she'll follow through anyway. *This* gets pretty crazy, but we're working past it.

It's him, but you have to communicate this to him or his unwillingness to change this will also include you.

ya know.. You are NOT at all crazy...such behavoiur on part of any boyfriend will irk / annoy anyone..

What you need to do is sit down and have a word with your bf about the timings he needs to manage & the priorities he needs to set , the deadlines he needs to meet. That is very important in life; you cannot just take things casually;

Sit down and have a word with him;
and lastly, there is nothing wrong with ya..its perfectly normal to feel this way in such circumstances..

That is only natural. Any barriers to our plans and desires cause frustration. That is life. Most people do not know that they are in your way or not doing what you planned.

"Best laid plans of mice and men often go astray" Think that is Steinbeck's novel "Of Mice and Men". Anyway you just have to accept it and roll, and dodge around these barriers..Usually most people are not listening to you or even thinking of what you would like to do. It is a rare person who even listens to you. Most are only thinking of themselves. Nothing to get upset about./ Relax and enjoy watching how others behave.

Just my opinion.

Your concerns appear legitimate under the circumstances. You're not crazy, your boyfriend is irresponsible.
