Pig in a blanket. All you need is to roll out some biscuits, put some of the little sausages in them, roll them up, and bake until the biscuits start to turn brown. It doesn't take long, isn't very expensive, but still tastes good. If there are going to be a lot of people, or you want it a little cheaper, you can also use hot dogs. As long as it's hot, got meat and bread, people will love it.

Well if you really like them then cook up something fast that comes in a box like hamburger helper, or if you don't really care about the whole thing yet you don't want to look like a free loader then go to costco or somewhere and buy some kind of cake...that's what I did, last minute too = ).

Something in the crockpot would be perfect.
So--chicken breasts, covered with half soy sauce & half water is sooo yummy.
So is a bunch of little smokies in a crockpot covered with sauerkraut.
Chicken breasts, cooked until done, then shredded and BBQ sauce added for sandwiches are really good too.
Good luck.
All these are crock-pot friendly.!!

Summer sausage, cheese, crackers, and yummy mustard. This is hearty, and happy to people around the holidays. It lays out nicely on a platter too. Merry Christmas!
