you need to tell them you need prenatal care. They will understand and if they don't do you have another family member that you can turn to. I am sorry that you are in this situation honey but you have to tell someone soon so you get the proper treatment for a healthy pregnancy. May god bless you and your baby.

Make sure you are actually pregnant. If you have been dieting or under stress, that can have an effect on your period. pregnancy tests are cheap, and you can take the test at walmart in the bathroom if you are afraid to take it home to do it.
Look at your options. Figure out a backup plan for if your parents mean what they say. There are places just about everywhere that will help you, if you want to have a child and raise it. If you want to have it and give it up for adoption, there are A LOT of places that will help you.
Pack a backpack, and have it at a friends house or at school so you aren't going to be out with nothing. If you can pack more than that, without getting caught, do it. But you need to have a backup plan in place.
I was a year older than you when I got pregnant the first time. Not married. Loser guy. My parents had always told me I was on my own if I got pregnant. They really came thru during that time.
But I know other girls who weren't so lucky. I've known girls who got knocked around, literally kicked out and cut off. If you have a real reason to fear, then you need to make sure you can't be hurt. If you are truly afraid that they would literally kick you out, or possibly hurt you, don't tell them alone. Have the school counselor or a pastor or other trusted adult there when you tell them. maybe tell them in the counselors' office or at church.
If you don't have a real reason to fear, and you are actually pregnant, then have a conversation with one of your parents. the one you think will handle things better. You'll feel better once you aren't living a lie, but making sure you are pregnant first is really important.
So is NOT having unprotected sex in the future. A baby *OR* an abortion is far from the worst thing that you can get from unprotected sex.

Don't listen to all those people being mean. Yes, you made a mistake. But now it is time to deal with it. I was 16 when I first got pregnant with my oldest son. I was so scared to tell my mom. Becasue she swore she would kick me out. It took a lot of guts for me to go to her and tell her what the problem was. But after she cooled down. ( cause she was realy pissed) She realized that I needed her. My mom didn't help me raise him. I had to get a job. buy his diapers and clothes, and anything else he needed. She was only there to help out with tips of caring for him. I see now tht she did not want me to end up depending on her to take care of him. But, you need to make a dessision of what you are going to do. You can have your child, or as some of the comments that have been made get a abortion. But I advise you to watch the video that they have about abortions before you get it done. they use a machine that is like a vaccum to suck the baby out of your body. It sounds like when you put a sock in the vaccum. And it is something you will never get over. I know. My son is now 11 and a honor roll student. And my mom pasted away when he was 7 mths old. So i have been doing it on my own. It is going to be hard. I am not going to lie ta ya. But I think you can do it. If youy wanta talk to me send me a e_mail @ ns_becerra@yahoo.com and I'll be glad to help anyway I can.
GOOD LUCK to you.

Well ya gotta tell them. But if they do kick you out of the house then this is what you do.Go to your school and talk to a counselor they can help you find a place to stay. Dont just be on the streets as that is dangerous and unsafe for you and the baby. If you have a grandparent or aunt you can go to I also suggest that. Good Luck to you.

There are many organizations available to help you. Please talk to your school councilor if you feel you cannot go to your parents.
I would also recommend finding a Christian agency. The reason I say that is because they often offer you a place to live, continuation of school, and counseling should you choose to carry the baby and keep it, or give the baby up for adoption. They will often allow you to stay until you finish high school.
Often, but not always, non-religious agencies will encourage you to abort the baby. One problem with this choice is there is often little or no counseling after the abortion.
Any choice you make will follow you the rest of your life, you have to be sure you can live with your choice. You are not alone!
Best Wishes...

i think u should talk it over w/ the father & then decide if an abortion is the best option for your age or if you should keep the baby or give it up for adoption. then, talk to your parents about it. have a friend there for moral support and "protection" so that they cant become violent, which is my worst fear (im pregnant also, but im younger). also, a friend is there to help you out *if* they put you out. it was probably just an empty threat when they said that, just to convince you NOT to get prgnant. i dont think you deserve to be called names like slut or whore & i dont think that you should consider this a bad choice because God always has a reason for EVERYTHING he does...if you are meant to hold this baby in your arms, then God will provide you.
email me if you have any questions or concerns or just want to talk. im in the same boat, so we can help each other!

First, make sure that you are defitnetly pregnant. Go to a clinic, free ones are in every area. They will give you a free test, If you defitnetly are. You have to be honest with your parents, do not try to hide it. Honesty is the best policy. Dont give them details on your experience, just let them know that you NEED THEM, and that you want their support. Hopefully, they will be there for you. Pray, and get information on health care and start seeing a OBGYN, and taking vitamins.

My parents said the same thing to me. They said they would dis-own me too. When I found out that I was pregnant I was so lost and confused and SCARED; about how I was going to tell my parents I was so terrified I just wanted to disappear. I told them of course they were disappointed but they learn to deal with it. I feel for you. Whatever you do don't be like those weak *** bitches who kill there infants or put them in the trash because " they were scared to deal with them". YOU PUT OUT step up and take care of that beautiful child inside you. Their amazing. They change your life in a good way. I honestly wish you the best and your mature as well strong and make it through. I really hope your parents support you and the guy steps up too. Tell your parents just do it maybe things wont be as bad as you think. My parents now are my best support group and best friend I most needed them when I was pregnant. Make something of yourself as well finish school and continue to grow for your child. Peace and love. Best of Luck.

Well, I know you probably dont want to hear this but, you will have to tell them sooner or later, becuase a bulging belly is kinda noticable after a while. Maybe they said that just to scare you into not having sex. I couldnt imagine a parent acutally kicking their child out when they have no place to go, especially in a situation like yours. Plus you are going to have to get pre-natal care unless you want to put yourself and your unborn child into harm.
Good luck!

Go to them for help. Usually the threat of "I'm going to kick you out if you ever..." is just that... A Threat. In reality they still love you and will hopefully be by your side. If anything they'll be able to help you with the "life vs. abortion" issue you're now set with. I know people who got an abortion and now, years later, regret that decision. It's not one to be taken lightly.
