Took 2200.00 out of my trust account. Never recieved bill. 22 court appearances since 11/04 without clean title and cash equalization to be paid in 120 days. Attorney curses at me and tells me I am insaciable. told me to leave the court house or he would have me arrested.

You have an absolute right to an itemization of the attorney's charges. This includes a right to an accounting of the money he/she is holding in trust for you.

I do not know the details of your case or what you are trying to accomplish, nor do I know what state you are in. But I would consider obtaining another attorney, or at least getting a second opinion from another attorney.

If you obtain other counsel and your old attorney refuses to provide an accounting or bill, then contact your bar association to file a complaint. This is a potentially serious ethical violation, and the bar doesn't tolerate those who don't properly account for the monies held in trust.

Literally, an attorney has the obligation to the best representation he/she can provide to their client. I am here to tell you that 22 court appearances is a lot, but sounds like a real deal. $100/hour is not an outrageous litigation fee. I think you do need to confront your attorney (make an appointment please), but you also need someone to explain why he/she had authroity to take ANYTHING out of your trust fund if there was not a court order to do so. No attorney has the right to curse at you. Call the local bar association and document this with the morals and fitness committee (you can find them online). Good luck to you.

there is not any such criminal criminal accountability because of the fact there is not any significant way of figuring the percentages. maximum legal professionals will provide their own diagnosis, and a few will jack up the estimates to get the interest. you're unfastened, even nonetheless, to employ a criminal professional who basically shrugs and says he has no guesses.
