Don't worry, those of us who actually know a thing or 2 about aquariums, and who post to help people, not just to raise our level, know what you meant the first time. The nano tank's lighting should be just fine. I know a few people who just used the lighting it came with and they have beautiful coral tanks and one even has a nice freshwater planted system. For a protein skimmer you probably won't find one for a tank that small. But you might be able to make one. Google "DIY protein skimmer" and see what you can come up with.

Good Luck!

It may be hard to find a protein skimmer to run a tank that small, the advantage of the small tank is that it is not hard or expensive to do water changes.

For lighting fluorescents are the way to go, an 18" double, one with a 'colour temp.' of 6500k and another with 18000-22000k. That would give you 30 watts, that should be enough.

What is a piece of live rock? The way that you worded it makes it hard to read, sorry.maybe you should ask the question in a different word order, and explain what those things are. Sorry again that I cant help you, I just thought I d tell you about the word mix up.
