Am I the only one who loves this movie? It is so hilarious.. a pathological liar who is obsessed with ABBA and getting married! What could be better?
..... I know it's a little corny, but I would like feedback from people that have actually seen it.

I love Muriel's Wedding! I particularly like the scene where Muriel and Rhonda lip synch Waterloo - it's the first time we see Muriel really smile and it's when her life really starts to change.

I also loved it. I recall that I expected it to be a comedy, but it was actually bittersweet. Funny and sad too. Rachel Griffiths did a great job as Muriel's friend. And how about that hot guy Muriel married? And you gotta love the name of Muriel's hometown, Porpoise Spit.

One of my favorite scenes is when the father views the burnt garden after the mother has lost it and the son and daughter's reaction to it. Before you write me off as odd. The reason why I like it is it is a moment of truth where each person in the family has to take responsability for the way things have turned out and Mariel starts really living her dream in a positive and meaningful way!

I liked it but I thought that it was kind of sad about the mother. Her dad was a real dick.

i liked it alot too...haven't seen it in awhile, but i remember it was a great movie
