My space shouldn't stop their program. People just need to realize that the Internet links you to the world. So if you give out your location, appearance, and other personal information your giving cyber space criminals all the information they need to commit a crime against you.

What program is this? I've been using myspace for 6 months and so far, I'm still alive.

The problem with things like myspace (AOL and Yahoo chats had the same problems when they were new) is that there's no way to keep out the crazies. So if you're dumb enough to meet someone and trust them when you just met them off the internet, you kind of deserve what you get.

They shouldn't have to stop running their business because people are too dumb to tell who's psycho and who's not.

I don't think myspace should cease being a program. I just think parents/guardians, kids, and older users of the site need to educate themselves on the dangers of the site. I don't blame myspace for death, kidnappings etc. because there are precautions that myspace allows you to take to protect yourself. (setting your site to private so that only your friends can see it) However, there are most likely ways to break through the private settings. If a person is worried about this, they really shouldn't have a myspace anyway.

No I don't think myspace should shut down. There is a new privacy setting where only the people you add can see you profile. People need to be more careful until they go on meeting the people is what i think. It's just like being on any other dating or friend website.

No. I think people should learn to make responsible decisions about what to post on the web and who to meet in person. So many people are willing to put their entire lives on their MySpace profile and then are surprised when someone tracks them down.

I agree with you. There is so much bad stuff that happens. I remember that a few years back that there was a few girls that were playing on my space and the people that they were talking to had found where the were living and raped and killed them. There are so many teenagers that put adult photos and other things on there and that shouldn't be allowed.

Huh? Your grammar is insane.. If parents controlled what their kids were doing on MySpace, it wouldn't be an issue.

People need to stop being so ignorant and take more precautions before meeting people.

You've got some of the worst spelling/grammar on this site. I'm begging you, please use spellcheck.
