I would say if he did not choke he will be ok, call your ER dept just to check you might check his poop to see if it passes ok.
I bet he will be fine.
I think the choking was the biggest threat and it has passed

My son is 10 months old and is like a human vacuum cleaner! He throws anything into his mouth and I have about 1.2 seconds to jump after him and fish it out. He finds the tiniest peices of anything. Unfortunatly he as also ate some paper (and peices of leaves tracked in! lol) You shouldnt notice anything different about him and if you do then just call the doc. If it was a really big peice then call anyway. I wouldnt worry though. Who knows what else they put in their mouths when we turn our heads for a couple of seconds!

my daughter does the same thing. It will pass through fine. It might give him the runs but other than that, it won't hurt. Jus keep a closer eye on him. If can do that, he will eat anything you leave around.

No danger at all...it's fiber! I would not recommend a diet full of paper, but a little here and there will not hurt them! You're a good parent! Don't beat yourself up!

give him lots of water, don't worry just pay more attention to your kid, you wouldn't want to regret any mistakes in the future that might be worse. i am not saying your careless or anything , i have 2 boys and one of them just turned 1 and he loves to chew on magazines, so i started giving me the teething toys thats filled with water, and i put it in the freezer and he loves it ...

i dont think paper would be that big of a problem. it probably breaks up pretty easily. call your pediatrician to make sure.

He'll be fine. His body will break it down and it will pass, but you probably will not recognize it....Things happen. Give yourself a break..............
