In the originally movie of "Oliver", does the girl die or does she survive the beating?

If you are referring to the 1968 musical "Oliver!", she is killed by Bill Sykes under London Bridge.

In the 1948 "Oliver Twist", she is killed in her own bedroom, as per the novel.

I'm not sure there are any versions in which she survives.

In the movie, I think it leaves it to your imagination. But she does die.
