earlier me and my partner were having sex, afterwards I went to the restroom and there was bloody mucus. But I am only 33 weeks pregnant.. oh and I also had a bladder infection for about a month and last wed. the doc gave me medicine for it. is it the bladder infection even though it is now gone? What could this be? Is it nothing to worry about? If it is my mucus plug, how much longer till i give birth? i think I may be having contractions ( its been about 2 hours) but idk they are so light I can barley feel them, it might just be getting to my head?

I don't know about the whole bladder infection thing, but it definitely sounds like the mucus plus to me. There's no telling how long you have until labor starts. The mucus plug is only an indicator. It doesn't make anything set in stone. If you think you're having contractions you probably are. Time them. If you have more than one an hour call your doctor. 33 weeks is a little bit earlier, but your baby would be just fine if you delivered him/her now.

Your mucus plug can fall out *weeks* before your baby comes. It's nothing to be alarmed about. Your cervix may be starting to dilate a little. Mine started to at about 32 weeks. My son wasn't born until 38 weeks. The contractions you're feeling are probably Braxton-Hicks contractions (a.k.a. practice contractions). Try drinking some water, and laying down. If they don't increase in intensity, or become very close together, you should be fine.

dito everyone
I would give doc a call to be on the safe side, especially if you start having more intense contractions or any other signs of labor

-your doc can check to see if your cervix has dialated or thinned any.

The pains you are feeling are braxton hicks they are caused by your orgasim. It is normal for you to be feeling them. after sex. This is why some doctors tell there patients to go home and have FUN (SEX) to enduce labor. but that is not your case you are not enducing labor. so don't worry. you can have sex up intill it is time to have your baby, but the pains are more than likely to follow.
