I would like to hear some various viewpoints from

people from all walks of life please ! Thanks.

"In my opinion, there is No denying that for most

of us, the main object of our anger and frustra-

tion is other fellow human beings. Until we

all learn to interact with others in a way that is

Not tainted by negative mental factors, and

strong negative emotions, such as anger and

hatred, No genuine development and cultiva-

tion of Pattience can ever take place !!

There is an excellent book out, that I have

read Four times, and try my best to put

into practice daily, it is called:

"Working with Anger !" It is written by a

woman with lots of intuitive insight. Her

name is Thubten Chodron. It teaches how to

develop and cultivate Patience daily. It's

encouraging and uplifting, as well!

Thanks for all your input !!!

And happy holidays to all of you & your family!

Hello, bless your heart. You are so right. The world is filled with so much, may I say, displaced anger. The world, unfortunately, is not a pretty place as we might think. There is such a wide need to make money and screw the closest person to you to get it. I sometimes think of the world today, I want to cry, and sometimes I do. What's in, what's not in. Collagen lips, or not. Face lifts, boob jobs, nose jobs, Viagra, anti depressive drugs, what are we doing. Come together as a people, love and support each other in times of need, put everything else aside, bring love to the table. I think we are headed for a rude awakening.

Main source of anger: failure to meet expectations. When you are expecting one thing (hot french fries at the burger joint, a friendly reception from your neighbor, a live human at the other end of your call, a wise and thoughtful President, etc.) but you get another (cold fries, a dirty look, an answering maching, a complete doofus as Commander-In-Chief), that is the seed from which all anger develops.

Other human beings is right. But we can not make other people feel what we feel. Nor can we make them act the same as us. And good luck trying! The Iraq war is proof positive of this.

I think each of our set ups cause our upset's. All stress is neutral, it is only us and our experiences that gives them value. I think if we all step back and think before we act, we may cut down on a lot of frustrations and anger.

Why did you type all that?

Anyhoo ~ anger is from what people feel about a situation and how they perceive it.
