DO you have any good sites for pretty good detailed summaries? For example I type in a book and it gives me all the info about it in a nice detailed summary... I tried sparknotes.com and it sucks... HELP!

The best way to find a summary on a specific book is to type in the books name in the search bar instead of trying to find a specific site that is more of a summary search engine. There are also some sites that have the book that you can listen to over the Internet, if you type in audio and the books name in the search bar you can sometimes find the book to listen to which takes a very short amount of time compared to reading it. I have done this at times. Also some libraries have an audio listening library over the Internet, Oak Park Library in Illinois has such a site. Worst comes to worst you can use cliff notes at borders or look up other peoples papers over the Internet that gives an overview of the book, a lot of universities have sites that have papers listed on various books of different titles. You can try any of these options, even though I have always liked the audio option better, I have gotten through Shakespeare, The Scarlet Letter, and various other books by using this option and it only takes a couple of hours for a whole book. This way you get the whole book in the easiest possible form. Well Good luck

I personally think that u should read the book ur self and sumerise it cuz if u hve to do somethin similar in future and u cnt do it @ home then u will find it difficult.Try readin the abriged version (if there is 1) of that book and sumerise that.Trust me u could do far better job than get somethin lousy from the net.

Go ahead try it ur self......... good luck!

www.gradesaver.com/classicnotes

they generally have good summaries but it's always best to use the books since teachers usually know these sites as well.
