I would donate to a favorite charity in his/her name. In fact, I have everything I need or want. If you have freedom and health you have everything. The Peace Pilgrim lived on a "need" rather than a "want" basis. How different this world would be if we all did that. In reality, our needs are very simple (e.g., food, water, shelter). So I ask people to please NOT give me Christmas gifts, but to make a donation to a worthy cause, to those less fortunate instead. That's my statement against the out-of-control consumerism in this country. I used to do clutter control for a living. Frightening! I told my clients: "Less is more." "Possessions possess you." "Get rid of clutter; so that energy can flow." My favorite quote from Gandhi: "Live the change you wish to see in the world."

I think that the best gift for a person like that (especially if the person is a good friend) would be time with me - take your friend out to dinner, a show, a play, a ride on the river (bay or ocean or lake), or make something special for him/her. You could donate to a charity in that person's name or have a tree planted in tribute to the person. There are lots of things, just be creative.

If they have everything they do not NEED anything.
So get something, in their name, for someonewho has next to nothing.
eg school books, water, goats,etc.
Alternative gifts go to desperately needy people, thos 'with everything' get a crad....and YOU get the satisfaction of having done sometghing worthwhiole.
Check the Web of Salvation Army, 0xfam, Tearfund, Traidcraft, etc. You can spend from £2 to aorond £3000

No one can get every thing because love etc comes from the heart and u can't by love only a empty body. so make them something like a card or small gift that's simple and effective, which will show your love for that person.

Adopt an animal in his/her name. If you choose somewhere like a Donkey Sanctuary or Canine Defence League where you can 'adopt' a specific animal your friend can choose for his/her self. they send christmas/birthday cards and letters every now and then from the adopted pet, so that way there will be reminders of your gift all year long

Absolutely nothing - if they have so much money they can have whatever they like then I would give them my love maybe somehing I painted and then the only real question is what they're getting for me!!!!!

Don't shout at me for being cynical but if they can get ANYTHING then tough as far as christmas goes!

Thats lovely to get them gift cards or something they havent thought of - but get real with that much money they had plenty of time to think about what they want and GIFT CARDS jesus COME ON READ THE QUESTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Giving is something that comes from the heart. It doesn't have to be something that they need, it should be something that you would like for them to have. We are giving our son-in-law a Red Ryder BB Gun for Christmas because when he was growing up he had 10 brothers and sisters and he never got much for Christmas. He always asked Santa for the BB gun but he never got it. The BB gun only cost $28.00 and he could well afford to go buy himself one but it would not be the same as getting it on Christmas morning from Santa.

The gift of your time and heart. That is priceless and something only you can give.

You get them a gift card to a restraunt or to a place where they like to go. Or you make it really personal for them, something that they would've never thought of. That's what I do.
