My norton program tells me that everything is working fine, yet when I try to get on my ATT DSL/Windows Internet EXPLORER, it just sits there. I cannot open my Incredimail it will not come on.
Files have been scanned and I have done the things in the past that helped, but nothing today.

Maybe you have to many programs loading, when your computer first starts. Go to run, from start button, and type in msconfig, then click on the start up tab. You will see all the programs that start when you turn on your computer. Uncheck the programs that you don't need..If you are not sure what they are, put the names into the google search engine, and it will tell you what they are used for..Then click apply, ok..I also use incredimail, and I put an icon in the quick launch section of the taskbar, next to the start button, so all I have to do, is click it once, and it starts right up..Also, when you see incredimail in the start menu, make sure there is a checkmark next to it, maybe it is not starting, when you start your computer..You will have to reboot your computer, after you are finished in the startup menu..good luck..

Sorry but you may have to get rid of Norton Works. It over manages Windows. Windows does a lot better on it's own. You can also do a test on your modem. Look on the bottom of the modem and find the site and login using the utilities.

Do you have the att self support tool installed. if so run that and see whats going on. After you run that it should tell you if anything is wrong. You could always call att tech. Have you tryed to refresh you modem by unplugging the power and then replugging the power?
