i had my first job when i was about 6 at wikki beach (hawaii) as an on stage hula girl. I got 20.50 an hour for being the youngest their plus the 10.50 every one else got per hour so 31.50 pre hour.

Does volunteer work count? I was working at a child development center when I was 13. I did not get paid. If you don't count babysitting, my first paying job was at Kmart in 1992. I worked every night after college classes. I worked four hour shifts and I was the person who had to go around and straighten the clothes on the racks, refold towels, etc.

My very first job was at an amusement park! I worked on the roller coaster ride checking seatbelts - the best part was riding the coaster over and over again with the kids who's parents didnt want to ride with them.
I was 16 then, now I am 25.

My first job was being a waitress at the OK Cafe. Really a challenge as the guys were so busy flirting, they didn't order any food. So I didn't sell any food and my Boss had to scold me. It wasn't my fault , because these guys were girl crazy.
