There was a song that came out by George Harrison in the 60s or 70s, pretty sure it was the 60s though. When it came out Christians were all excited about it because it was sort of a Christian song. Can't think of the lyrics, but if any of this information rings a bell, please help me with the song.

My Sweet Lord is the name of the song. He got sued by the writers of the song "He's So Fine" by the Shangri-las, due to the music being similar. He was the 1st former Beatle to go to number one, with this very song.

could have been my sweet lord, but maybe you are thinking of John Lennon's Happy Xmas (War Is Over) from 1971
