My friend has made sexual remarks on more than one occassion and I was too stupid to realize until after some incredibly retarded remark came out of my mouth....And I think he has finally given up trying to get my attention this way and I really like him and I go totally stupid everytime he attempts to come on to me in any form or fashion....What the hell is wrong with me?

Is he sneaky? People who are not up front and attempt to get close without notice either are sneaky and only considering their feelings or just clumbsy. You obviously feel safe with this person except when they come on to you.
Just talk about the surprise issue with him and be honest. You don't know how you feel about him as a romantic at this time. If he won't talk about it then don't worry about it.
