God forbid. How different would it be? How would Canadians react to it and care for the ones effected?

I believe the Canadian government would step up to the plate and be prepared to take charge, ensuring that all victims get proper care and shelter. I doubt the Canadian government would ignore the problem, like Bush did, just because the victims weren't wealthy white elitists. -RKO-

First off the Canadians would no have built a city below sea level with ancient levees. Next when told to evacuate the Canadians would have evacuated. Third, the Canadians don't have that many lazy people who do not work. Fourth if need be say the Building where the Flames play in Calgary would have been a whole lot nicer as would the people.

Things probably would be a lot better. Not because Canada doe's things better, but, because it's not New Orleans, LA. The main failure in Katrina was the local and state government was not prepared before or after the storm. Louisiana is a pretty corrupt state. You get very little done without someones hand in your pocket. Look at Mississippi. They were damaged worse. They didn't stand around waiting on or blaming the feds. They got to work and started helping each other. Works every time its tried.

It would be pretty hard for a hurricane to go all the way up north to Canada, but you never know. If it did happen, I have full faith that Canadians are better than Americans in every way.

How would it be different? Well for starters, America would have to fund and supervise the rescue and rebuilding efforts. Also, it would look very much like it did here. By the way, you people (non Americans) don't have a clue about what happened in Louisiana and Alabama. Just keep drinking your Kool Aid!!!!
