Does any agree with me on the matter that downloading music for free should be legal. I think artists get enough money with other things, plus they get free stuff all over the place.
I personally dont want to buy artist's cds, because there is like a couple good songs and the rest is usually crap. So big deal if some people download free music, there is a large group buying the cd's like crazy fans. So what is the damn big deal.
I am so sick of celebrities and their whining about everything. People still buy their cd's, posters, their clothing and perfume, go to their concerts and everything else.. Geez how greedy can people get. I like so much music I would have to spend thousands of dollars to buy all the cd's I like and I personally I am not going to give a celebrity my money when I am not even close to their wealth.

I never said for them to stop making cd's even if it became legal to download, you have those crazy sick fans that have to buy everything of that artist and there is still people that will buy the discs, but someone people cant afford those discs so they download because they want to listen to music. So they shouldnt be able to download just because that celebrity wouldnt be able to buy another house somewhere in the world?

I agree. They have gouged the music fan for decades by the exorbitant prices for music when it costs so little to make a cd. Most music is crap anyway.

There are a select few musicians that make really good music and I will always buy their cd but I find it odd that the super rich (Puff Daddy, Britney Spears, etc) are the biggest crybabys about downloading.

If some musicians lose their job because of it (HIGHLY unlikely) then only those people that are in music to express themselves will survive, not those who are out to get rich. The ones in it to create are always much better. Music downloading will kill off those people that have no business being in music.

Money does not just go to the artist! The people who produce the music, the writer, even the people typing up the paper to put in the cd box get money for each cd sold. You may think you are skipping out on paying an already rich celebrity, but you are also stopping hard working people from putting food on their families table. If people keep downloading music for free, then music will disappear!

The biggest problem is with the record/cd companies. They are the greedy ones. When was the last time you could buy a single, like in the days of records. The record/cd companies decided to stop making singles when cd's became popular. It irritates me to have to buy a cd for just 1 or 2 good songs and the rest are trash.

Best to avoid free sites, there's a high chance you'll pick up a virus. Try Iomoio, I've been using them for 3 years now and never got a virus. Songs are all in high quality bit rate so sound a lot better than the stuff you rip from Youtube. They've got over 3 million tracks with all the latest chart hits. Unbelievably cheap too! Register with the link below and get 2 free downloads to try them out.
