Was it neccesaary to kill so many soldiers in Iraq and take legal action against others? When the news channel around the world were showing the real picture of Iraq, what made the President turn a blind eye? Who has won the war? Aren't you fed up of all this? Is world a better place now? Why did American parents allow their kids to be slaughtered like this? The whole world has always critized China for slaughtering people for organs, but now what has america done; slaughtered people for oil?:((

I am from a military background and i know it takes alot of courage to go on war from not only the soldiers but their families too......... but was this war necessary? How will sending the Christmas cards help the soldiers? Is doing the card job enough for the brave soldiers and their families? DOnt they need anything else?

Last i checked the president was not in charge of the media, so because americans didn't see the real pictures that were happening you can't blame that on the president. and for the most part, all the media world wide shows only the horrors and gruesome disasters happening over there. yes young soldiers are dieing, young men and women placing there lives in harms way because of their own choice. what ever is going on over there will always be gruesome and grotesque viewed by a non-military's point of view. but it is a job some of the bravest and couragious people in the world are doing and i am glad they are. instead of criticizing and pointing fingers why not spend your time in a better way and gather silly string, beef jerky and a few hundred christmas cards and send them to our soldiers over seas.

The Bush administration took so long to "assess" the situation in Iraq because it never understood the situation in Iraq. Bushites never invested any time or effort in trying to understand the culture clash between the various factions that has been going on for 1,400 years.
Cheney only wanted the war so he could steal all of Iraq's OIL. That's the ONLY reason we're there...and that's they ONLY reason we'll be there twenty or thirty years from now, until every drop of OIL is sucked from Iraq's sands.
If you don't believe it, WHY is the U.S.A. building the largest embassy in the world in downtown Baghdad overlooking the 'new' Iraqi puppet government installed by the Bushites??
Because we will dominate that country until all its OIL is gone.
Cheney doesn't care what it costs: he wants that OIL so he and his Exxon-Mobil buddies can get richer and richer and richer as they continue to feed America's dependency on cheap, easily-accessible foreign OIL. -RKO-

I like your question and the expression and in my personal opinion people are busy with Christmas and they are struck in Iraq. They have to write the White House, Congress and Senate for their inputs and opinions. The country needs help and we all have to agree with one voice and I am sure the next congress session we will see thing happens.

Do you mean assess?
If you cant even speak or spell, why should any of your opinions carry any weight at all?
You dont know anything about why we're there so why dont you buy yourself a clue and quit popping off?
P.S. Point taken. However did you ever think there might be a REASON for said delay ?
Did ya?

Those whom act with intent of control (wether for a peacefull solution or not) only spread more darkness.
In order to follow the light , one must look where they THEMSELF is walking so they don t lose anyone else.

Bush was, and still is, in denial about the reality and the cost (in lives and money) of the war.
Some say he lives in a bubble. Not true. You can at least SEE out of a bubble. Bush lives in a concrete vault.

Man, what are you talking about? Didn't you see the press conference in May 2003 on the aircraft carrier? The war in Iraq is over! We have stomped the resistance. "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" remember? The president said Mission Accomplished. And he would never lie, right?
