I love my new state. It's got lots of pretty flora and lots of pretty girls.
It's got great beaches and warm weather all year.
Why would anyone say things bad about it?
I live in Clearwater, FL which is in the Tampa Bay Area.
A very lovely area too.

I dont know why, but kentucky seems to also be made fun of, I think it doesnt matter there are jokes and things about every state. I also used to live in florida in spring hill it is a beautiful state. I think they mainly make fun of people because the vast majority of the population are elderly people who move there to retire, just a thought.

gee sawyer you make Florida sound like Brighton beach in nyc in the summer time with the russians in the water ( and in the winter too haha). i just got back from florida in keywest and it was great. i'll take the bugs and things over -10 below wind chills in pa anyday. byee

i live close to tampa bay, around sarasota, and i hate it. there's nothing to do around here, weather sucks and there aren't any waves out on the beach to surf. there's the lovely hurricane, love bug and mosquito season. also, florida is filled with old people who can't drive anymore and with tons of hicks who think they are the sh*t because they drive around with a confederate flag and country music so loud you can hear it from australia soo yeah, good stuff around here.

I don't know, but I've been to Florida (to Disney World), and I thought Florida looked very nice. I also loved how it rained every afternoon we were there... awesome lightning too.

It's hot; muggy, & full of people who speak other languages...as well as old people who are too old to still be wearing thongs! And mosquitoes & sand gnats. Everything is painted gawdy colors.
Should I keep going?
