At what point should you take a baby to the hospital when she has a fever?

Anything at or above 102, take them to the ER. High temperatures in a baby can causes seizures that can lead to brain damage. A fever shouldn't be taken too lightly, as they can be very serious and deadly if not handled correctly. It isn't worth your baby's life, if you are worried, take them to the hospital, even if it turns out to be nothing.

At daytime I would call my doctor if my baby has a fever of 102-103 and not relieved by Tylenol or Motrin.You will be advised to go to their clinic ASAP.If it happens in the middle of the night or perhaps in the evening,I would rush to the ER.Temp of 102 and above especially for infants could lead to convulsions if not treated ASAP by a doctor or else bye-bye baby.Mom of 4,RN

Before you decide to take the baby to the doc, you should try giving the baby fluids to bring down the tempertaure and tylenol; if that doesnt work you should take the baby to the doctor. The only thing that the doctor will do is try to bring down the temp

well that all depends on how old the baby is, and what is going on with them
I will tell you if she is less than 8 weeks old and has a fever above 100.4 I would go now. That is an emergency.

Usually when babies have fevers, they are usually developing their first few tooths. This is not a big problem, this is normal. Just allow the baby to drink lots of water and it'll be fine. It'll only last for a few days.

well i had to check with my doctor a few days ago they say bout 102-107 is a temp.

104 at the most any higher and it could be deadly
