The cheapest way would be to buy a book on it. That's not free but it would only cost you like $15 to $20 for a lot of info. You'll mostly just learn slight of hand and card tricks that way. That is good stuff to know but eventually if you really want to do cool stuff you'll have to purchase magic tricks from a magic store or website.

go to penguin magic website. they have some free card tricks on there. all you need is a deck of cards.
