The only bad things that happened to me as a kid/teen was getting broken bones (twice in the same wrist--same place too--once in my ankle, and bruised my knee so bad it had to have a soft cast for a few days), but my brother constantly had something happen to him (not broken bones, tho, until a few years ago--and he's now 39). He had a nail go thru his foot, he had fallen his first time out on roller skaes (didn't try them out first in the area you were to go first before going on the rink if you didn't know what you were doing) as he immediately went out to the skaing rink and fell down awhile later--the elbow was totally swollen up for days! When he was a teen, he got a motorcycle, the throttle got stuck going down our dead end street (that ended at the cliff of a deep forest), and had to crash to stop the darn thing---which it decided to hit the curb, bounce off of that, and hit his leg--with the kickstand going into his leg! He also got into our dads knife with a sheath on it. It had been put up and he was told NOT to get into it without dad helping him. Mom and I were upstairs taking care of laundry or something and we heard my brother screaming--the knife had gone thru his finger and he had to have stitches!!

When I was eight I was walking along a wooden board as if I was a tightrope walker and stepped on a nail, it went all the way into my foot and I had to yank the board off to remove the nail. When I got home I was too afraid to tell my mom until she noticed me limping. I told her and then she had to take me to the hospital. It got infected, I had cellulitis, and had to stay there for two days on an I.V., that was terrible. I havent stepped on a board since.

I got a rusty nail through my foot when I was nine, and it still gets cramps sometimes. But, my Dad was walking behind this kid in the fifth grade one time. The boy tripped and my dad fell on top of him. The boy had a pencil in his back pocket and it stabbed my Dad in the stomach. He is forty now and still has a blue lead spot in his belly. Said it hurt really bad.

Once I was in my 6th grade art class and the boy that sat across from me stabbed me in my finger with a pencil. I have this gray spot on my finger from the lead still. I am 26 now.

I cut off a few fingers, broke some major bones, poked a car antenna in my eye but other than that, haven't had many accidents
