It really depends on your style, whether it's more hip-hop, preppy, skater, or whatever. As for basketball shoes, huarraches (not sure if i spelled it right) work really well on the court, and you can even get those somewhat new lebrons. For hip-hop: rocawear, phat farm, ecko, etc. (bape jackets have also become popular) Prep: hollister, abercrombie, lacoste, etc. skater: dc, vans, hurley, o'neill (not quite sure about this category). Since you play basketball, why not wear jerseys of your favorite players with a white tee or beater underneath with some jeans and matching shoes? But you don't have to try so hard, most guys (at my high school anyway) usually just rock the tall tees, baggy jeans, and some air forces. Plus a hoodie when it's cold. Good luck shopping!

Let me just say Old Navy is a great store and everything in there matches well. They have resonable prices and have awesome clothing. I've been wearing their stuff since about 7th grade, and I'm 21 now....so that's 10 years of great style.

And here is some advice (because I know in high School labels ARE important): No one notices if you aren't wearing A&E jeans or Hollister flipflops. They notice the shirts and money doesn't grow on trees. Always remember that.

So when it comes to jeans, accessories, over shirts/button up shirts, or basic shoes like flip flops, go with Old Navy.

When it comes to a print shirt, with a design on the front, go with the popular label you wanted. It makes the rest of the outfit pop.

Sharp basics (slacks, hoodies, polos, undershirts, etc.) from stores like Old Navy or Target are good to mix with more unique stuff that fits to YOUR personal taste (like from a thrift store, the mall, or wherever). It's silly to waste cash on Abercrombie khakis or plain polos when you could get them for much less elsewhere and no one will be able to tell the difference. Instead, once you've loaded up on cheap basics, then spend on fun, distinctive things that make you think "Yeaaaaahhhh" when you look in the mirror (like colorful sneakers or a cool jacket or something).

Dress to be aesthetically-pleasing by YOUR standards, not by your boring peers'.

Hopefully by the time you get to high school they will all be wearing uniforms. I am for uniforms because it helps to eliminate the already high pressure situation of having that many rude and judgemental kids all in the same place. If you are all dressed the same then that helps to ease some of the pressure to fit in.

Andrew, let's talk. you are at an age where you think you have to impress your peers. well here is a newsflash. you DON'T. why can't you just wear what you want? i'm sure most kids your age shop at A+F/ Hollister/ AE/ Buckle/ GAP/ Old Navy /Express/Aeropostale/Foot Locker/Maurice's. I'll be brutally honest and tell you that the quality of clothing at AF/AE/Hollister compares to WalMart. i'm not kidding, i've shopped at both. just be yourself. go in stores that you think look interesting. wear what's comfy.

It basically relies upon. diverse human beings have diverse tastes. some females will positioned on polos others will positioned on image t-shirts. some females will positioned on sweatpants and a t-blouse others will positioned on flowery clothing. positioned on clothing you want. short of coming to varsity in a ballroom gown or pjs there is not any actual "incorrect" thanks to gown. you may extremely a lot under no circumstances bypass incorrect with apartments, denims, and a gorgeous blouse/sweater.
