I really like this person and really want to tell him but I keep hesitating and cannot get the courage to tell him but I really don't want to lose my friend either...I seem to be stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place... Any advice?

Tell him, if not you'll just get hot and bothered for the rest of your time as friends, and you'll get jealous over every girl he ever gets with... Chances are you wont be friends with him forever anyway, might as well take a chance.

Is the guy your friend or is it your other friend who has a crush on the same person?
If it's the guy as your friend, then just tell him. I don't think that he will like another person telling him the news, because then he will think that you are embarassed to tell him.
If it's another friend that you are afraid of losing because of the guy, don't worry! Most of us get past fights over guys. Just tell him either way, that's all I have. Hope it works out for you.

does your friend seem to want more from you than friendship?can you ask him if there could be more in your relationship than just friendship or would there possibly be a chance for romance.i would just go to him as a friend and state that you have a dilemma. tell him that you like this person and that your not sure how he feels about you. see if he will give you advice and then tell him its him that you are referring to.

That sucks! I have been there. If they are a really good friend and you end up dating and it dosnt work they should be able to still be your friend. If u really like this person you have to give it a try other wise you will always be wondering what if. and you dont want to live life with what ifs.

you have to go with your heart... the least that can happen is he says no, and if he does then it's not the end of the world you tried. most guys like when the female takes the initiative. It can only help if you make the first move. best of luck and i hope i helped.
