He is certainly suitable for second term. But it depends on Congress. Unless Congress supports him he can elect unopposed. And he may not choose to contest, if there will be a election. Congress also need others help to get its candidate elected. It will try all avenues to get its own candidate at Rastrapathi bhavan. Next it may support left parties candidate. Only it felt, its oppose to Kalam may help BJP's Shekwat to win the poll, it may no otherway but to support Kalam.

No he has refused to do so in a statement few months back he was asked this particular question when he refused it & told he will enjoy being a teacher again then President of India.

I think Mr.Kalam should retire and settle peacefully in his native place. He has lot of respect, love and dignity from the public. A second term may spoil this image.
