I tried changing my name on facebook. I don't undertand what's wrong bc it says "change has been submitted", but i still see only my old name showing (i check after a WHILE too). i tried it like 6 times, still doesnt work., and im not putting any nicknames in...is it blocking me or smg?

Did you misspell your own name? Are you tired of that embarrassing nickname?
You can request a change from the "Settings" tab on the My Account page. For quality control purposes, we confirm all name changes before they take place.
I know I have changed my day in the past and it took 24 hours for it to be approved. I think it may take longer right now because of the holiday. There may be no one in the facebook office to approve it. I would wait until tomorrow and then email facebook at if it doesn't change.
