Even different-sized tetras will school together.

No, you tetras need groups of at least 6 for EACH species. They may school together, but it is not a good situation.

Possibly, but they school best if they are all one species. Some species of tetra are less inclined to school than others, so there's no guarantee that your mixed group will school together.

Tetras like schooling with the same species, in the wild they are in schools of thousands, so the more the merrier.

If you have neons, get more neons. If you have glow-lites, get more glow-lites.
