Answer the question? As you wish.
My answer is The Princess Bride.
Shakespeare in Love? Inconceivable.
Shakespeare in Love was a good movie, and I enjoyed it. But Princess Bride is one of my all time favorites. :)

Both are quality movies. But I'm still bitter that Shakespeare in Love beat out Saving Private Ryan at the Oscars. So I'll go with The Princess Bride.

The Princess Bride.
Probably because it was the first one of the two I watched, but we always had to fast forward during the huge rat scenes :)
I didn't watch Shakespeare in Love until I got to college, but I do like it a lot.

Yeah, I'm going along with everyone else and saying Princess Bride. Great characters, extremely quotable, Cary Elwes swordfighting, the 6-fingered man...what's not to love???

I'd say Princess Bride, because you just can't beat Cary Elwes in a black suit with a sword! ;)

Very tough call.
Both are wonderful and interesting in two different directions, but I'm going with "Bride"
"Wuv. Twoo Wuv." Can't beat that
