They sucked as soon as they released the black album and the napster thing made me believe even more that all they care about is money.

I agree that the artists and writer should be able to make money for their work. It is the big record/cd companies that are greedy. They used to make singles, (when records were still made) So you could just buy the one song that you wanted. Now you have to spend big money to buy a cd, usually for just one or 2 songs. The rest are trash. I have some older 3 inch cd's with just 1 or 2 songs on them. I think that if the record/cd companies started to make single cd's, they would soon put an end to free downloading. The other thing is that the record/cd companies got really behind in the downloading business. They could have all had sites, like i tunes etc and could have made money from that. But they missed the boat on that and are now looking for ways to overcome their lack of concern for the paying public. So to get back at everyone they are going after the little guys who down load from the free sites.

If you mean my attitude about free music? No,because even before bands won their legal battle against Napster,I felt it was wrong...these bands and artists put a lot of effort into making these songs a reality, and for Napster to just give them away...that was disgusting

Not really...
Well, to be honest, ever since St.Anger, I began to dislike Lars.
However I still love Metallica, especially James!
