Why am I one person out of millions that care? Why Do I cry when terrible things happen to my fellow human beings? Why is my heart broken more times then it is healed? I love to care and I love to love others, but why do I feel alone when it comes to giving a damn? We have all been put on this earth to make it better, but it seems to be declining? WHY?

Well perhaps you have a genetic susceptibility, a gene that triggers the output of certain hormones that cause this emotionalism. Or, maybe you are chosen by God to suffer these strong feelings of empathy and that, somehow, in the economy of redemption, your suffering helps the groaning human species to reach toward its high goal. Or you are looking at yourself too much. You don't indicate that you do anything that actualizes your care and love for others. But if you do act to care and love, I think that is all you can do. Why does the world seem so cold and getting colder? Because the battle between good and evil is at its highest pitch. Carry on, lover of the Good.

Do you mean 'a heart of caring'? If so, that's all right for you and, ideally and philosophically speaking, one of the most important attributes and characteristics of good human beings is that the more we have caring people, the more peaceful community we will definitely have and thus live peacefully. I think of a song some 30 years ago, it's entitled, "A Heart of Gold", have you ever heard it? Therefore, don't think too far, you seem to possess such a heart.

your not alone, lots of people care. We are just at a point in this world where people have to taught to care only about themselves. It has become a very I I I generation. I understand how you feel though and please remember we are the only ones that can turn broken hearts in healed heart. You cannot heal the world, but you can pay it forward and hope one of the people you pay it forward to will pay it forward to someone else. One step forward it worth the try.
