Hi, Usually the nuts are put on with a torque wrench, a tip to get the nut off is to find out which way the nut turns. Find a socket that's a good fit, lock the clutch up, and with a bar on the socket give the bar end a good whack with a hammer in the opposite direction. Then try and turn the nut in the right direction. Nine times out of ten that usually works. Failing that take the bike to a dealer and get them to do it.
Good luck.

Most clutch reatining nuts have upwards of 200 Nm (Japanesse = metric) torque. I would try using a large breaker bar or an air impact gun. When reinstalling the clutch it is important to know the Nm to re-torque to factory spec. Any Honda dealer should be able to give you the specs. Just got talk to someone in the service department.

Nope, it's right hand thread.
BUT, it's installed at a high torque setting.
Best bet is an impact gun.
Otherwise, you need some way to lock the hub so it doesn't try to turn as you're breaking loose the nut.

Look at the threads and see what direction they are turning. It might be right handed to loosen. A big nut buster would break it off without damaging the shaft.
