I wouldn't tell anyone! I dont need those long lost fake cousins showing up asking for $!

A few weeks or so, just to get my affairs in order. I am a financial planner, and one of my clients won the Rhode Island lottery... bastard didnt tell me for 2 weeks...lol!

I would call my Mom right away and my step-dad as we would howl at the moon together.
I would call my sister and brother to shout out loud together.
Then deadly silence would overcome me. I would shut up and sneak out of town to collect and back again to over see the construction of my new house and shelter for homeless animals. Oh, what a dream.

long enough to get the money and a plane ticket on the first thing smoking outta town, settle into my new home then call them from an undisclosed location and tell them.

Not very long. I'd tell my Mom and siblings right away so I could buy them what they want.

as long as possible... because as soon as people find out that you have money, relatives start to come out of the woodwork and they all become salesmen for their favorite charity-themselves:)

I wouldn't tell anyone else besides my immediate family.....and you can bet on it : I would tell THEM right away, LOL.
