Gas stove. It seems to cook food better, in my opinion. I used to have an electric stove and the whole cooking process seemed to take much longer.

In this day an age the cost of energy could be a factor. If gas is cheaper in your area then a gas stove would be a good chose. You could check on having a natural gas or propane line hooked up to your house.
The stoves have their differences and everyone learns how to use them. For some it depend on their way of cooking.

Have electric in the house, & gas in our travel trailer. My wife prefers the gas.
If you want gas brought into your home so you can have a gas stove, try calling the gas company. If they service your street they may install service to your home at no charge. All you have to do is pay for the stove & have it connected to the meter.

I have an electric stove, but I wish I could have a gas stove. Your food warms up quicker in my opinion.

We have an electric stove, but chefs only use gas. It's easier to control the temperature.
