i am a pro at this kinda stuff...i suggest stores lyke claires, DEB, fashion bug, dots, burlington coat factory, and others like these. dont get anything 2 fancy or over about $40...but styll have 2 look cyute and ready 2 dance.so something ur age appropriate but short enough so u can be able 2 dance in it.nd most important accesorize with earings, necklace, cyute heelz, and alil purse.

Try a brand like Candie's at Kohl's this dress is like 38 bucks and is cute and not frilly but still really, really nice...
This top with the cherries is cute as well and you can wear with some gauchos andflats or with the matching skirt but that may be too many cherries for some flats, like these....

well what kinda money are we talking about now?? try these shops: Maurice's and DEB, try Macy's. go look on the clearance rack first. i don't know if you have those shops i listed. just go to a mall and look. tell her to suck it up and try things on. sometimes after you put it on, you like it better anyway.

Macy's has great deals on formal dresses, but i dont know if they have them in stock now... and you can always buy online!
