16 = 16-19
17 = 17-20
Pretty much in a three year age range. But a 17yr old may date someone even older depending on the situation.

By law, the oldest a 16 or 17 year old can date is a 17 year old.

hmm I'm pretty naughty at this but I'm 16 and I've dated a few good ages older than me.no sex though, still a virgin and all but i would say at the very least a good age would be to about 19

consenting age is 17 as long as you have parental approval but check your state laws. i am 17 years old and i am seeing a guy that is 21. it really all depends on your maturity and situation. but to be safe deff. check state laws

for guys i like the rule 1 grade down 2 grades up. for wemon i would say about 1 up 1 down.if there is too much age difference the maturity levels are too different.
