How to make a good New Year party???

We spend New Years at home. We make Rootbeer floats, eat cookies pies and cakes. We go outside at midnight, listen to the New Year noise. Then I call my Mom, Wish her happy birthday (She was born on 1-1-1916) and give her my love. We stay home where it's safe from harm on what I consider one of the most dangerous nights of the year that there is. ( I'm an X-Cop) That's why.

Going out. There's a all day event called First Night in Boston. There's several activities going on throughout the city to celebrate the New Year's.

friends and family get together we have a nice fun dinner - this year home made tacos and taco salad. Others are bringing brownies, some are helping out with the tacos. Music and games then we count down with dick clark or whoever is doing it this year. Stay up all night just enjoying each other's company.

I am inviting friends over. I always bake a home made pizza. (Everyone brings toppings). I have this great egg nog that I make. 6 eggs
1/2 cup sugar / splenda
1 large tub of cool whip
flavor w/ vanilla or rum flavoring to your taste
or you can flavor with spiced rum
Whip it all up - it's great.
We play cards or domino's and watch the ball go down at midnight.
