which is more important the friendship or the possible relationship? I would address the issue by telling him your feelings if you can handle losing the friendship. But if he doesn't feel the same try to still be friends. Tell him that he doesn't have to have the same feelings and if he doesn't not to feel pressured. It will hopefully work out for the best. My best friend and I went through something similar but now we are just the best friends ever.

I've got the same problem. What I've been doing is finding ways to have just one on one time with my friend. I casually ask him if he would like me to bring a movie over to his house or I ask him if he'd help me on a project. I make sure it's something that only he can help me with and none of my other friends.
That is important because if you find stuff your other friends know how to do then they may want to tag along. The best way I think to break the ice is to let him see you in a different light. For me I asked my friend to be my date to a ball. We both dressed up really nice and I had him pick me up. It was a wonderful night and since he got to see me look different and in a different setting I think it made him think differently of me.
I think it's helped because last night he invited me out for dinner and paid and everything. It was like our first official real date.
Good luck with everything.

Just keep being his friend and try not to act weird, because awkwardness will always ruin the friendship. But if you want to get with him, maybe you should try to get to know him better and hang out with him. Who knows, he may like you too.

Try talking to him face to face and make him promise you that your friendship will not change before you tell him then tell him how you feel and give him some time to think about it and maybe he might end up feeling the same way about you (You never know)

Just grab him one day and pull him close and give him an ever so soft but passionate kiss. There's nothing like a good shock effect. You may be surprised to find he feels the exact same way about you.

Honesty. It's the only way to go. And don't put it off. But be prepared, in case the feelings are not mutual. Can you handle just going back to being friends? Can you handle it if he pulls away and things are never the way they are now?
I hope it goes the way you want it to, but be sure you are ready for whatever his reaction may be.

Be honest and direct, don't beat around, but don't pressure him. just let him know, then the balls in his court. It's best for both of you if you're honest about it, it's always best to be honest about anything in a relationship, even if it seems like a good idea to lie or hide.
