I'm with Vim, yes, there is a Santa Claus. It is about surprise, about giving, about doing something special for someone you know and someone you don't know. It's one time during the year when people set aside their own lives and personal problems and think about other people. It's about getting in touch with people you haven't talked to for a long time. It's about the only time when many people are willing to believe in magic. It's that one Christmas Eve in Colorado when we were all playing games waiting for midnight when some snow fell off the roof and made a huge sound and we all stopped talking and playing and looked at each other with that same question on all our faces - could it be? We were all adults, and for just that one fraction of a second, a whole group of us adults thought maybe. Oh yes, without a doubt, there is a Santa Claus.

Santa delivers food, clothing, and gifts to more children than you can count where I live. He uses many elves to accomplish this task. He reminds us of the spirit of Christmas by allowing us to assist him. When you see a child's wide eyes looking at a table laden with food and a tree with actual presents under it for the first time in their lives, you will know that Santa is real. Please, try this for me: pick a family and see what you can do to be Santa's elf. The only thing is: it has to be a family that has little or nothing and you have to ask people to help you. You'll see, just like God, Santa works wonders! Merry Christmas from one of Santa's elves.

I do. I feel that santa is in your heart. I don't define him as a jolly fat man in a red suit, but all who buys gifts from the heart are a santa.. I will always believe in santa...

i think the concept is good, especially for little boys and girls to have something to believe in, and i know there was a man who loved children very much and gave them presents, but i dont believe in the commercialized santa that travels around the world and gives kids gifts in one night.
i wish he were tho.
