Ok so I live in Manitoba, Canada (which is in central canada) and it gets really cold here in the winter..(And we have long winters!) In the summer we have tons of sea gulls around...And I want to know where they go in the winter..I am sure they don't tag along with the geese going south!!! Anyone know??

All of ours just stick around here. I imagine if yours really are completely disappearing during winter, then they probably are heading south.

I have lived in Seattle Washington and see them all winter. Now living is Saigon and they don't come here or the get made into seagull soup. Almost nothing walks or crawls here. They eat dogs, cats, ells, rats, mice, snails and baby duck embryos in the shell. Love the country but gotta watch what you eat.

I am from the Midwest near Lake Michigan and some of our seagully leave but some stay and move inland near our malls. They hang out in the parking lots and drive the shoppers crazy with their shrieking and pooping everywhere. We just can't get away from them, even in the winter!

I think they all come to South Florida with the rest of our Canadian friends:). Just kidding, I'm not sure, but there are millions seagulls here, year 'round.

It relies upon on no remember if or no longer they'd get sufficient nutrients devoid of migrating. In cities, the place they get a great form of nutrients from human beings, many gulls do no longer migrate. they're going to migrate in the event that they can't help themselves throughout iciness.

I live in WI, not much farther south.
We have the nasty old things all year round.
They are worse than PIGEONS----I wish they WOULD fly away!
