The process of taking music from a CD to your computer then to your iPod is called "ripping." The process' duration depends on how much music is on the disk, but almost never takes mre then five minuets. To rip a disk, open iTunes then insert the disc into the cd drive wait until iTunes asks you if you would like to import the disc into your library, click yes. If you are connected to the internet while ripping discs with iTunes it will automatically query the database and get the album art, and songs names, etc. After the cd is in your library just proceed as you would normally put songs on your iPod. you can use windows media player to rip music from your cds to your mp3's or ipods, you can also you music match to help you through the process.

Upload your cds into itunes.
