There are so many parts of Christmas to love I wish I can name them all. First there is celebrating Jesus's Birthday. We all celebrate our individual birthday's but Jesus's birthday and our nation's birthday are the only two days where you get to celebrate with millions of other people you do not know. Then there is being with friends, and family. My family lives everywhere, but the immediate family always tries to get together that one day to celebrate each other. Next I love to give gifts. Yes, I'm a girl so some would say it is just a excuse to go shopping, but it is more than that. I love watching people's faces when you get something that they did'nt even know they asked for. It's like shock and awe: Shock that you were listening and Awe because you DID listen. Well these are only a few, but once I mention lights, decorating, and Christmas memories you might be a bit bored.
Happy New Year!!!

Well, since it is a holiday steeped in paganism and has virtually nothing to do with God, I would have to say my favorite part is when it is over.
One other thing about it has turned me off cold; the fact that people without families are ignored and excluded. I remember being in a church one Christmas eve as a pastor dismissed us to all go home to our families to celebrate, making no mention of folks in the congregation who had no family to go home to and celebrate with. There is something wrong with that picture. Norman Rockwell only exists for a priviledged few. Everyone else sits on the outside in the cold with their noses pressed against the window, wishing they could join the merriment. Christmas should be abolished in my opinion because it is both pagan and exclusionary, Sorry if my answer is too harsh, but I am speaking the truth as I know it.

I love every part of Christmas from shopping for presents to watching my family open their presents on Christmas morning & then sitting down to a traditional Christmas lunch (hot in regional Qld but I have to have my roast ham & veges). I love the hustle & bustle of the shops, listening to Christmas carols, decorating the tree & house & going to various Christmas parties. I guess I am a Christmas junkie as I absolutely love this time of year.

I love listening to Christmas carols. I watch Christmas shows on tv and miss the holiday specials from when I was kid. I like shopping for my family and seeing their faces when they open what I got them. But best of all is having everyone together, even if it's only for a few hours, and eating foods we only eat at holidays.

Every year my family and I go to my mom's house for Christmas Eve. It's a small house and we are kind of cramped for space, but it is a loving, warm feeling being with the people you love most. My mom has a tumor and is in a lot of pain so it was at my house this year. Hopefully by next year it will be back at her house. We like to sing caroles and read the Chrismas Story from the Bible.

I would say that what I really enjoy of Christmas is the fact that my whole family get together, my friends come over from other countries and there is magic in the air.

I dont know about other people but my favorite part of Christmas was when i invited my friends over for a Christmas Dinner and the Christmas tree. Most people would say the presants but thats not me. I would like to give presants than recive them. Cause when my friend came over and was leaving i gave her a presant and she was so happy and excited to open it on Christmas day and for me just seeing her face so happy was like meant everything to me. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!

December 26.....it being over. Such an enormous waste of energy and money.all the fake and phoney people with "Holiday Cheer"
Bah ! Humbug!!! If Christmas was really Christmas, it would be spent in church praising and celebrating Jesus' birth, not at the Mall spending $$$ to make the Chinese ( who dont do Xmas) wealthy.

People seem to forget all the negative things going on in the world. For just a little while, we whole-heartily actually shine at each other.
