can anyone say this is true or was that person lying too me and why would they lie? If thieves did do that I believe that is a worse crime than the people that actually flew the planes into the buildings because they are sneaky, still alive and roaming the city doind more crime. At least the terrorists already killed themselves.

after the buildings collapsed, there were no bodies. There were only body parts. Who do you think stole the jewelry? The firemen who survived? The police?

Where did you hear this? What an awful thing. I hate to say this and may they rest in peace but most of the bodies were just about crushed from all the concrete and steel coming down and any jewelry would have fallen or gotten crushed too. So I would think that any jewelry taken wouldn't have been removed from an actual body but just found in the rubble.
Plus only rescue personnel were allowed on the site. Not just anyone could walk in there.

Whole the area was cordoned. Therefore, there was not chance for theft. You may like to give source of your information. It is a good habit not to tell any one about information which may be rumor. In calamities such events may happen. I will be more happy if this question was not asked on this forum.
